How it works

Pilates is an overall body conditioning workout consisting of various matwork based exercises designed to increase in intensity and difficulty as your strength and muscle endurance increases. The exercises work the entire body and focus on developing a strong deep core for a solid central base around which movement occurs. A solid central base allows for greater power production with every swing during golf, increasing accuracy and distance of the ball.

Pilates incorporates a series of controlled fluid movements which stretch the muscles to relieve any tightness or tension which could restrict performance. Pilates re-educates normal movements patterns, reducing risk of injury which may be acquired through repetitive trunk rotation, squatting to pick the ball up and prolonged walking.
