Who is Suitable for Pilates

Pilates has something to offer people of all ages and levels of ability and fitness, from beginners to elite athletes.  From the young to the not so young and everybody in between.

Pilates can be used to provide support for beginners and people with certain medical conditions, as well as provide more specific resistance for those who are looking to supplement their training.

If you’re eager to jumpstart your health and wellbeing, Pilates is likely for you.  

If you have any of the following issues/conditions, be sure to consult your physiotherapist prior to attending a class:

If you find yourself on this list, it does not mean that you cannot participate in a Pilates class; but that modifications may need to be made to the exercises conducted from session to session.img_7131

I qualified as a physiotherapist a number of years ago now with a Doctorate in Physiotherapy from Boston, Massachusetts in the USA. Love brought me to Manchester from the US, and I have been happily settled in the UK since! I have great passion for Pilates because of the amazing effect it has on your body. I feel great energy after a good session and I really enjoy meeting the wonderful people at my classes! I cater for all abilities - from people who have never exercised before to elite athletes.
